Contact Jessica Taylor

I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Florida and a native North Carolinian. My dissertation discusses Indians and landscape in the third quarter of the seventeenth century. Beyond writing, I'm working to be a better teacher to every kind of student.  My avocation is fostering, transporting, and providing care to hounds transitioning to indoor family life. For myself and undergraduates, I'm always looking for hands-on experiences and conversations about activism, history, archaeology, preservation, museums, and liberal arts education.
